How To Make A Halloween Ribbon Wreath

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

• Styrofoam™ 14" Ring
• 50-ct. boxes of floral greening pins (3)
• 3 rolls of deco mesh ribbon 10" x 30ft. (3)
• 8 assorted Halloween-themed ribbon rolls in multiple sizes (8)
• Sissors

DIRECTIONS:

1. Cut sections of 1-1/2" x 10" lengths of the deco mesh ribbon from the rolls. The cuts do not have to be perfect. Gather the mesh the base and poke a pin through it. Insert the pin into the Styrofoam™. Continue this pattern, cutting different sizes of mesh, placing randomly around the Styrofoam™ wreath.
2. Make ribbon loops with the wider ribbon. Insert the pin into the ribbon and poke it into the wreath.
3. For the thinner ribbon, cut off 6-8" sections of ribbon, fold in half, insert the pin in the middle and poke into the Styrofoam.
4. Continue the process of making ribbon loops and pieces until the wreath is full.

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

• Tulip® Dimensional Fabric Paint: Glow Natural, Glow Green, Glow Pink
• 16" x 16" tulle
• Waxed paper
• Masking tape
• 1/4" ribbon – 1 yard
• Paper towels
• Scissors

DIRECTIONS:

1. To print the pattern, click on the "Download Project PDF" button (above).Tape down to flat surface.
2. Tape waxed paper over entire pattern.
3. Tape tulle over waxed paper, to cover entire pattern.
4. Shake paint bottle to be sure there are no air bubbles in the tip.
5. Practice drawing lines on a paper towel, being careful not to drag tip of bottle on the paper towel, for smooth lines.
6. Trace lines of web pattern with tip of Natural Glow paint bottle to create web. Fill in spider with Green Glow and center of spider with Pink Glow. Allow to dry completely.
7. Cut around edges of spider web, trimming excess tulle, cutting through the waxed paper.
8. Carefully peel waxed paper off the back of the spider web.
9. Cut a 1/4" slit on each end of the spider web.
10. Poke ribbon through the slits on each side and tie in a knot.
11. Place spider web around neck and tie in the back to complete necklace.

Black Pumpkin Fairy Garden

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

• Hot knife
• Hot glue gun & glue sticks
• Black foam pumpkin
• 8" x 8" block of white Styrofoam®
• Maker's Halloween™ resin door
• Maker's Halloween™ miscellaneous. figurines (6)
• Maker's Halloween™ Crow figurine
• Maker's Halloween™ Skull Pick
• Package Maker's Halloween™ trees
• Package variety moss

DIRECTIONS:

1. Using a hot knife, cut out a hole in the face of the pumpkin in desired shape and size.
2. Cut the Styrofoam® block to fit inside the pumpkin. Fill in the sides with random pieces of the Styrofoam until there is a nice base to place figurines on.
3. Secure the Styrofoam® to the pumpkin using hot glue.
4. Begin to place the Halloween figurines in desired locations inside the pumpkin. Working from the back of the pumpkin and moving forward, begin to hot glue the figurines and the moss to the Styrofoam base.
5. Add moss around the cut opening using the hot glue to attach it.

day of the dead skull

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

• Flat skull mask
• Flat brush
• Smaller rounded brush
• Bottle of black acrylic paint
• Bottle of white acrylic paint
• Assorted artificial flowers colors of choice
• Hot glue gun & glue sticks
• Wire cutters
• X-Acto® knife

DIRECTIONS:

1. Using the flat paintbrush and white paint, apply paint to the paper mache skull mask and allow it to dry.
2. Using the black acrylic paint and a dry brush, barely put any paint on the brush, rub excess off on a paper towel or scrap piece of paper and lightly paint around the eyes, openings and teeth.
3. Decide where to place the flowers around the crown of the mask.
4. With the wire cutters, trim the stems of flowers to about 5" in length.
5. Once the decision has been made as to where to place the flowers, use the X-Acto® knife and pierce holes to slide the stems through the mask.
6. Hot glue the stems from the inside of the mask to hold them in place

Halloween Fairy Garden

SUPPLIES & TOOLS:

• Funkin Pumpkin
• Pumpkin carving knife
• Moss (variety)
• Resin Halloween figures
• Hot glue gun & glue sticks
• Scissors
• Disposable plastic containers (i.e. cottage cheese, yogurt)
• Sturdy paper plates (one each approximately 8-5/8" diameter & 6-5/8" diameter)
• Push pins
• Pencil

DIRECTIONS:

1. Pin the edge of the paper plate slightly under the stem of the pumpkin. Slit the paper plate about five times around the edges to allow it to lie flat on the curved pumpkin. Pin into place. Trace circle with a pencil, remove plate, and cut out the circle with the carving knife.
2. Build a platform inside the pumpkin by hot gluing the containers to the floor of the pumpkin. Build it to the level of the bottom of the opening, and tilted so the platform slopes forward slightly.
3. Hot glue moss to the back of the large paper plate, curve the plate slightly to insert it into the pumpkin opening and glue to the platform.
4. Hot glue moss around the pumpkin opening, inside the opening, and around the stem, allowing some to cascade down the pumpkin sides.
5. Attach resin figure, welcome sign, cat, and pumpkins with hot glue.
