Brocade Halter Top

Pattern-not needed I made this halter top using pattern 4471 from McCalls patterns.
I cut it out of brocade fabric. I cut it two sizes bigger since brocade fabric doesn't stretch. I followed the directions on the pattern and did a lot of fittings since the top straps don't tie.

After finally fitting it , I added all the elastic and added a back hook. I added studs-had to be very careful since brocade fabric is a bit delicate and glued on rhinestones using Aleene's fabric glue(glue that can be washed). I wore it under my Beledi dress.

  I don't think I would have the guts to wear it alone but that's why I have my vests. I did have to sew it in the middle since for me it was allowing to much to show. I don't think anyone larger than a C could wear  this since there would be so much weight on your neck. I would also recommend making one up in cheap fabric to see if it would be worth it for you to make one out of this pattern.
