Jack Skellington n Sally, Grim Reaper and Demon Costumes Part 1

Yes, I'm either sewing, crafting, painting, taping and anything else to make these costumes.
My middle son and a friend are going to be Jack and Sally. Youngest son the grim reaper and me the demon. Oh, I forgot I'm renting a costume for hubby to be a Yeti.
I have the Sally costume almost done, jack -have to finish painting it, reaper is almost done, my horns are half way done and still need to do a few things.
Anyway, I will post photos soon-yeah, I know I keep saying that.

Halloween/Steampunk Bulb Decor

A coworker had this magazine,Country Living, which I happened to look through. I saw this photo and had to make one of these. How awesome is this?! From Urban Comfort here is the article here and the tutorial here.

I don't know if I'll do the moths on it and if I do I won't be making them. I am doing a bit more thriftier idea on this than what this article above says. I bought my candlestick and bulb at the dollar store. I'm spray painting it black and will add some silver acrylic paint afterwards. I will glue my bulb in because I don't want it knocked down and broken. I'll show you pic when I'm done and get a clue on using my new cheap camera.
