Storing in Progress Projects

Does your sewing/craft room look like this? Are you doing 2,3 or more projects at a time? I am and I'm trying to find a way of organizing them without losing track of them. I've tried to look online for solutions and found some here on Flickr.

Some of the advise would work for me and others wouldn't. I think it depends on what you are looking for.

I'll be looking into the Dollar Store to buy some see through plastic storage containers to put some of my work in progress items.
