How to Make an Aviator Cap for Steampunk

I thought this would a cool project to do. Of course I don't know when I'll get to it but thought this would help out others looking for links on how to do this.

    Nice caps, especially if they were made by yourself. It not so easy :p I`ve tried to make my own aviator, but I failed :p Now I have this aviator cap, it is not cheap, but for steam punk purpouses purposes it is just perfect. Besides I wear it sometimes for everyday use.
