How to Make and Do Appliques

I've been playing around with appliques. I've been making a mermaid one, steampunk octopus with top hat and mustache and a zombie girl. I've done an patchwork elephant and mustache on some quilt squares. When I get a chance I'll take pictures for you.

DIY Pin Cushion

I am making a couple of pin cushions for gifts. I thought I would post some interesting ones to make as gifts or even for myself.
These Mushroom ones are from an Chinese site so I don't have much information on them but the post is here

I've made these before and they are easy and fun to make. You can just use scrap fabric or do a patchwork.
