Button Turkish Vest

Project level :Intermediate
Project List: Fabric(brocade,cotton, satin,etc)
Interfacing
Buttons
Lining
Simplicity 4484

I first made this vest but with a zipper the first time. I decided to try it with buttons. Its much easier to get into. Instead of cutting the back according to the pattern , I instead cut it on the fold.

I also cut the middle pieces longer or 2x the length of the original piece. I proceeded to sew it the same way as the other ones I did. I  added a decorative sewing stitch all around the vest. http://people.tribe.net/erikaschiquis/blog/8c45142b-2f4e-405d-971a-669be231bf36 or
